I had a long distance trip and the gentleman in the location mentioned keeping the newest truck for my reservation. This was thoughtful and the truck was amazing.

Great physical location - in the middle of everything, easily accessible. I've used this location a handful of times and usually had no big issues. The mobile check in process is never as simple as stated. The app AND the website do not work well with my phone (unsure if this is an Android or smartphone-wide issue). Location services are always turned on, and yet it cannot pick up where I am via the website browser OR app.

Finding street parking is always an issue. I never find it right in front of the location, which is fine, but doesn't seem fine in the way the return instructions are written. The app this time did not specificy that street parking was needed; it said "Park in the lot..." which I knew was impossible as I would be returning it after business hours.

I do not believe the equipment is cleaned between uses. It doesn't bother me because I expect it, but I feel like you are "sold" when signing up to expect otherwise.

Booking has always been easy online or the app - last minute or ahead of time. The price is straightforward. I have been happy to never have unexpected or untrue fees added to my total cost, which I appreciate and can't say the same for competitors. I have been happy with customer service via email or phone call. I appreciated the rear back up camera in the most recent van I rented; unexpected and helpful!

I will continue to use this location.

Convenient location and surprisingly, wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be to find street parking when returning the U-Haul after usage. I usually factor 10 mins or so for the check in process, but the process here took a bit longer than usual since the truck I had reserved was not available at the time I had arrived for pickup. Luckily I was able to get another truck with the help of the man at the counter, but the delay in the process caused me to be late in meeting my movers which was unideal. Besides that hiccup, the process was quite seamless and convenient!

We arrived at 8:30am to get our truck and were not given our truck until 10:30am. Our truck was stuck in a gated truck behind 8 other cars from the mechanic shop next door. They ended up switching our truck. The man running the uhaul side of the business was late to arrive. This was extremely unfortunate.

Easy pick up and drop off on the street after hours (did have to search a while so try to get there early!) but not too difficult to find a spot! Really appreciate they held onto valuables that I forgot in the car as well. Will be using them again!

Dirty car with less than 1/5 gas and poor service. The staff on July 8 morning SCAMMED me when the queen size mattress bad only $3.95 on Uhaul website but he charged me $12 for two IN CASH.

Unfortunately the kind woman that works the front desk doesn’t make up for the inconvenience. Rented van BE 2811 D. They informed us that the side door was broken, which is crazy because it is meant to help people move not prevent it. And on top of this the back door was jammed. I was at my storage ready to load my boxes and the back door wouldn’t open. I pulled and pulled on it and it would not budge. Called them to ask for help and they suggested to keep trying it. They even suggested we drive back to get a different van. While all of the items from my storage were already pulled out of it. 30 minutes later & only after a kind stranger tried for a handful of pulls did it finally open. This van should NOT be able to be rented and people should NOT have to deal with the inconvenience. We asked for a discount and were told to contact Mark Barrett, the regional manager to explain what happened

Scheduled a moving van weeks in advance, but there was no van assigned to me at pickup and no one called me before hand to let me know they didn’t have the vehicle and they did not have a replacement. I had to search elsewhere for a moving truck the day of a move. But I went to the official uhaul shop in Parkslope, who I will be returning to next time because it took 5 seconds to drop off vs over an hour it took me returning to Washington Ave location last time I rented from them.
